Ross' Headshot

I grew up on a small farm in northern Wisconsin. After high school, I joined the United States Air Force and worked as a Cryptologic Language Analyst for four years. After finishing my contract with the USAF, I attended University of Wisconsin - Madison for one year studying mechanical engineering and computer science. I left college to run a College Pro Painters franchise for a year.

After I closed my franchise at the end of the season, I moved to Vancouver, B.C. to take the Programming for Games, Web and Mobile course at Vancouver Film School. During this time I discovered I was passionate working in the fun and challenging industry of video games. I enjoy the combination of creative and technical skills required to excel in this industry, and the people who rise to that challenge are some of the most interesting people I've met.

Since returning to Vancouver, I've worked at Electronic Arts, Bandai Namco, Vancouver Film School, Under the GUI and Hellbent Games. I left Hellbent in spring of 2023 to co-found a new company called Riverwind Studios.
